Why is there a subscription fee?
As much as we would like to provide this free, there are costs we incur. Expenses include software, website related costs, and certifications with Microsoft. We also have opportunity costs.
How do I purchase a subscription?
- Download and install the addin.
- After it is installed, open Excel, select the Power Adhoc ribbon, and select the Account button.
- Enter your email and click Copy ID.
- Purchase a subscription and use the Computer ID copied from the previous step.
- Check your email for your subscription confirmation and your temporary password to manage your account.
- After you receive your confirmation, select the Refresh Subscription Status under the Account drop down.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Absolutely. You can cancel it at any time by logging into your account. We hate to see you go!
Can I try it before I purchase a subscription?
Yes you can. When you purchase a subscription, there is a 10 day trial period before you are charged. As long as you cancel before the trial period is over, you won’t incur any costs.
Can I purchase subscriptions in bulk?
You can purchase multiple subscriptions. Each subscription is tied to a computer ID. If you would like to purchase large quantities, contact us through the support menu. We will be happy to work with you.
Why do I have to have an account?
Your account allows you to manage your subscriptions. We also use this to let you know when updates are available.
Can I get a refund?
Unfortunately, we do not provide any refunds for cancelling a subscription. You can cancel it at any time. Rest assured, you will not have any further charges. Your account page will show you the status of your account and any future scheduled charges.
Is my information shared?
Your information will never be shared. Your information is used to validate your credit card information and to keep you informed about updates and product news.
Where is my credit card information stored?
Your credit card information is not stored at in2hyperion.com. I do not know what your credit card number is. All of this is stored with the credit card processor. All transmission of the information is encrypted when entered so everything is secured.
How does the ribbon verify a valid subscription?
Your uniquely created computer id and email is used to validate our subscription to the subscription server. It is not checked every time you load the ribbon. Once it is verified, an encrypted key is stored on your computer and used. This key is renewed weekly.
Will the ribbon work if it is not connected to the internet?
Yes. Your subscription is verified every 7 days and doesn’t need to be connected to the internet unless that key expires.
